Where Does All The Time Go?

It's been so long since I last been on this blog. I'm sure you can all understand why but for those of you who don't have children I DON"T HAVE ANY TIME FOR ME. I have found it really challenging going from three to four kids. I truly believe the further you space your kids its a little easier but having a toddler and an infant has completely monopolized my time. Karson is now nine months old. He has two bottom teeth and has turned out to be a really happy boy. Nevertheless he still wakes up at night (more like twice...three times) but I know it will not last forever!!! He is crawling around like mad and has found himself a snack or two in the dogs food. I think all my children have experienced this except for Kaden.

Kennedi is 2 years old and loves to be the center of everyone's attention. She has a sweet presences about her but she can turn on you in a second. She really has had a hard time with the concept of "sharing." I know you all say..... now what two year old likes to share. Nope if you are a bite away she will bite you. I think all three of the other kids have experienced at least one bite from her. Poor Karson gets the worst of it. The ironic part is when you ask her if she bit Karson "yes" and then I ask do you need a spanking she replies "YES." How am I going to break her of that. Kennedi is very affectionate and has a smile that makes you melt. She has now become a total DADDY'S GIRL. I can't tell you when she made the switch but once upon a time it was all about MOM:(

Kaiah is 6 1/2 yrs old. She just graduated from kindergarten and can't wait to start the first grade. Talk about an excellent student. Reading/Writing/Math is well above average and we are just so proud of her. Kaiah is really into drawing, singing, and fashion. She is ALL GIRL. We are getting ready to celebrate her 6 1/2 birthday on June 27th... ya ya yahhhh I know you all think I'm crazy but we have been doing this since she was two. It works and there never is any issues running into Christmas time. She is excited. She wants a digital camera, arts & crafts, clothes and shoes. What else could a girl ask for????

This was Kaden before he had to cut his hair, and the bottom picture is him now. It's amazing how hair could totally change your look. Kaden's punishment was to cut his hair last week. I won't get into that but he knew if he disobeyed his parents that was going to be the consequence. Of course he likes the new DOO!

Kaden is very excited to be on summer break. He is my child who could take or leave school. I keep telling him he has many more years to go.. I still have him convinced that you have to go to college... Its not an option. He enjoys playing with his friends and if he is not with them I find him on the computer. Kaden is easy going and doesn't ask for much. I can't believe that Kaden will be turning 10 years old next month.

Baptism 2009

On March 15, 2009 Kennedi and Karson were Baptized at St. Anthony's Catholic Church. Grandpa Jack and Aunt Cheri are the proud God Parents of these two precious babies of ours. With all that being said Grandpa Jack is relieved. My poor dad has been after me since Kennedi was an infant to get her baptized. I guess I always knew Karson would be around someday so I held out until they could celebrate together. Now I understand why it's pushed for you to baptize when they are real small. They are usually sleeping and don't make a peep and they don't walk so they will stay in one place. Yes I am referring to my little girl Kennedi. She wanted no part in this ceremony. All Kennedi wanted to do was run around and scream. Yes that would be my daughter. Thank goodness the priest was patient and seemed to understand. I want to thank all my family and friends who shared this special time with us. I love you!!!!

Kaiah's Art Work

Kaiah loves to draw. She comes home from school everyday with a new piece of work she has created in school. You know there are so many pieces of paper that come home from school that we tend to shove in a corner and say " I'll get to that later." Its work like this that we want to cherish forever. How cool is it to scan their work now and it will last forever. Kaiah surprises me more and more everyday. I will post more of her work as she brings it home:)

Kaiah's Hair Crisis

The new Cut "BOB"Rubber band vs. Scissors. Kaiah was trying to get a tangled rubber band out of her hair. Kaiah thought cutting the rubber band out of her hair was a better idea than asking someone to help her take it out. Well I was at work so she decided to ask her step-dad for a pair of scissors. I would of thought a 6 year asking for a pair of scissors would of triggered maybe a question like "what do you plan on using those scissors for?" No Kent just handed them over like no other.... She sure did get the rubber band out of her hair, along with the pigtail it was attached to. Surprisingly mom was not upset. What little girl doesn't cut her hair... After I posted my little mishap on facebook I got so many responses. Thank you to all my friends for your support. As you can see Kaiah is adorable short or longer hair:0)

Happy 2nd Birthday Kennedi

Today we went to Town Square and played at the park. Kennedi spent the day with Mom, dad. Grandpa Jack, Nana, Kaden, Kaiah and Karson.

I couldn't count how many times Kennedi went down the slide.

Monday night Grandpa and Grandma Bawden treated Kennedi and her cousins to a fun party at Chuck E Cheese. She sure had a wonderful time.
